what to do?

I've had my long dark hair for about two and a half years now, before that I had dyed it pink and turquoise, which quickly turned red and green. And before that it was different shades of dark pink and red. And its also been part black and white...

I've always wanted to dye my hair pastel peach pink and other various pastel colors. But since my hair is naturally dark brow, almost black, it takes ALOT of bleaching to get my hair light enough. So I can never decide what I should do. Do I ruin my hair for something I've wanted for so long, or just stick with the natural and have super healthy long hair? As of now, I'm sticking with the natural, but maybe one day, I'll have Princess Bubblegum hair.
