Lately this whole "instagram makeup" thing has become so ridiculous, and almost scary.
Its not a good look, period. Its way too much and everyone ends up looking nothing like themselves and like a walking contour stick. Spoons, knives, tape, all of it has nothing at all to do with makeup artistry, and hopefully will die out soon.
That normal people see it and want to try it, I can understand. It looks great in pictures, and they make it look so easy. But that makeup artists or people claiming to be muas use it, is not ok. Im not going to go all into what i think about it from the mua perspective. But I made a video that I hope will make someone, or even just one person, rethink what they are doing to their face.

Ive been trying to upload this vlog for 3 days now, but it just wouldnt let me!
So this post is a bit late... But a few days ago, NYX had their party of their launch in the Douglas store in Oslo. They now carry the biggest selection of NYX products in Norway!
So before the launch party, me and some of my classmates got to go to a workshop with Maria Malone. She did a demo on a masquarade mask with a skull, and ombre lips and brows.
Best cake pops and macaroons I've ever had, no joke.
Then we went to the party at the Douglas store, where there were drinks, cake pops, macaroons, a photo booth and dancers! The party was so much fun. Here is a little vlog from the party, I forgot to film at the workshop though, sorry!
There will also be a first impressions video on the products i got in the goodiebag and the products I bought the day after on the actual opening of the store.

This is a classic look that never goes out of style. Its quick and easy, you just have to be comfortable with liquid/gel liner, and red lipstick. Which both are things that even the most experienced makeup artist hates doing. Just because if you mess up just a little bit, everything is ruined. But it all comes down to practice. Practice a liner on the back of your hand, to get that perfect straight line and winged tip. And practice doing your red lip over and over again, till you can do it blindfolded.

So this is the first video of many more to come where I'm actually happy with the quality of everything. I've been so quick to upload videos before, just because I wanted to get started with my channel, that I haven't really kept the standard that I want my videos to have. But now I have the equipment and time that I need to make good quality videos both in production and content.
Im going to upload every sunday, if everything goes as planned. And not everything is going to be makeup tutorials.

Its been kinda dead on my youtube channel for a while, and Ive also deleted a lot of the videos I had up on it. Mainly because I wasnt happy with the quality of the videos. But these last couple of weeks Ive been filming alot and editing loads, so that when I start uploading again, Ill be posting 1 or 2 videos every week. So Im just trying to get a kickstart for my self by pre-filming a lot to easier get into the routine of posting regularly. And Im trying really hard to do a lot of research and come up with interesting videos that you might not have seen before. As the ones I have been posting earlier have been videos youve seen around on many other channels. But I really would like to hear from you what kind of videos you want to see.
